Bass Guitar & Vocals Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, Lisa was blessed in being raised by a loving, musically influential family. Her love of harmonious melodies stem from gatherings in her grandparents home singing traditional, southern style gospel hymns. Teaching herself to play the acoustic guitar at an early age has provided Lisa a wonderful source of enjoyment throughout her life. Lisa picked up a bass guitar in an attempt to aid her husband Gary with a new melody he was working on a few years ago. Succeeding in her efforts that afternoon, she hasn't put the bass down since. Gary further inspired her with the surprise purchase of a Warwick 4-string bass for her, and most recently an Epiphone Hofner copy. Although a style all her own, Lisa is inspired by Timothy B. Schmidt, Paul McCartney and Doug Stegmeyer. She admires greatly the talents of many fine bass players such as Roy Vogt and Victor Wooten.
