There's not much musical history on Bryan; that's because up until May of 2005 his vintage 1968 Kustom guitar lay underneath his bed un-played in a band for more than 30 years! His last live appearance was in high school in 1974. Take a look here to see him at that point in time. He still owns the pants and guitar, but the shoes are history!

Bryan picked up the guitar at an early age, simply because his big brother was playing one. He took a few professional lessons, but mostly learned from his brother and friends. Once he had a few chords under his belt, he formed a band in elementary school, The Unknowns (still unknown to this day!) They entered and won the 6th grade talent show (with go-go girls dancing behind), and that was all it took for him to do little else. In junior high school, he joined up with a new-found friend Ron Cable, who was far above, talent wise, any other guitar player in his age group, or any age group for that matter. They entered the talent show at the new school, and won that too.

(Ron Cable went on in his college days to form a band you've probably heard of, "The Ace In The Hole Band." After the band was formed, they needed and advertised for a lead singer at all the Austin, Texas area campuses and night clubs. There was only one guy that really got their attention, and his name was George Strait. As they say, the rest is history. We can all thank Ron, who is no longer with us, for what George Strait became!)

Bryan put his Kustom guitar down (which was previously owned by Ron Cable) after high school and there it remained, under his bed. In late 2004, he was introduced to The Moondogs by life-long friend, former member of The Unknowns, and Moondogs lead guitarist, Larry Ireland. He was initially asked to manage the band and later to join as rhythm guitarist. Bryan's love of The Moondogs original songs and fantastic camaraderie he enjoys with the band members has convinced him to keep the guitar out from underneath the bed and become part of what he believes is something special!
